As other small towns across America, Mount Carmel decorates its main business district-Oak Street- with festive Christmas decorations. As the years go on, the decorations age and need to be replaced. Currently Mount Carmel has fewer than a dozen functional Christmas decorations to use for streetlamps on Oak Street.
Replacement of these decorations is an expensive endeavor. Therefore, MCDI is using GoFundMe to raise $20,000.00 for new Christmas decorations for our streetlamps such as the one below:
When you contribute $500 or more, you will be a sponsor of a decoration. Your name, organization/business name or memorial of dear family members or friends, will be remembered each Holiday Season with a lovely decoration.
Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated for creating a more attractive downtown Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania during the holidays.
